- Template name: In this field, provide a name for the template, or a brief description. Below this field, there is a checkbox to make the template the workspace default, which means any courses transferred to the workspace will automatically use this template by default, only one default can be selected.
- Header and Footer image: The header and footer images are optional, the header will be displayed on the top portion of the certificate, and the footer in the lower portion. To add either, click Select file, and you will be shown the media library, click the image you wish to use, and finally click Select at the bottom. - Content: The content is what will actually be displayed on the certificate. The text editor will allow you to change the body of text, you can also use dynamic tags, which are variable fields that will pull specific information from the database, depending on who the certificate has been sent to. For example, {{learner/firstname}}, will pull the learner's first name, and display this on the certificate. To add a dynamic tag, use the drop-down box to the right of the editor, clicking on one of the options will insert it into the body of text.
- Preview: The preview button will allow you to review the certificate before creating it.
Finally, to complete the creation of the certificate, click the Submit button at the bottom. If you wish to make any changes to any of your certificates, click the Edit button, and it will take you to the certificate editor. To preview or delete the certificate, click the three vertical dots, which will reveal more options. You can also choose to make this certificate the workspace default, by clicking Make default certificate, the Default label will then appear next to this certificate to advise this is now the default.
