Organisation units are hierarchical structures within the workspace, where users can be assigned and grouped.
If the unit has an auto-enrolment rule, the user will be automatically enrolled to those courses.
Role required: Site admin, Admin
Assigning a user to an organisation unit
- When inviting a user you will be given the option to add the user to a unit.
- You can also edit an existing user to add or move them to an Org unit, to do this go to Users, click the three vertical dots next to the person you wish to add, and then click Edit.
- Assigning unit: In the left navigation panel choose Org unit and Groups
- Search and select the unit you want to assign the user to.
If there are any auto-enrolment rules set for the new Org unit, these enrolments will be displayed on the page.
Leaving any courses selected will enrol the learner to those courses on clicking Save changes. - Save changes: Once the unit has been selected, click Save changes at the top right of the page.
